Airports Authority of India, Northern Region, requires 100 Jr. Assistant (Fire Services)-NE 04. Last Dt. 15/10/2013

Airports Authority of India (AAI) — Northern Region, is inviting application for the post of “Junior Assistant (Fire Services)—NE 04”  for vacancies at various airports in Northern Region. Total vacancies- 100 Nos. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Qualification norms / eligibility criteria and brief details is given below —

1. Junior Assistant (Fire Services)—NE-04
Number of Vacancies: 100 Nos. (Reservation of seats is as per Govt. norms.)

Educational Qualification: Class 10th pass AND –
(i) 3 years’ regular Diploma course in Mechanical/ Mechanical/Automobile/Fire with minimum 50% marks
OR
(ii) 12th Pass (Regular study) with 50% marks.

Requirement: Candidates must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License OR One year old Medium Vehicle License OR 2 years old Light Motor Vehicle driving license from the dated – 15.10.2013.

Age Limit:
Maximum 30yrs as on 15/10/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.12500—28500

Physical Fitness:
Height – 167cms; Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)—81/86cms; Weight—Not less than 55 Kgs.
Eye sight — 6/6 in Distance vision at both eyes without wearing Glasses and N5 in both eyes in case of Near vision. No color blindness.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess good colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties

Selection of the candidates will be through written test, physical measurement, driving test, endurance test, and interview.
The candidates will be allowed to appear in driving test/physical endurance test subject to passing the written test.
Date and venue of Examination will be intimated in due course through Call Letters/Admit card.
Centre for Examination will be Delhi only. Information will be also available in the official website of Airports Authority of India — www.airportsindia.org.in

Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply must prepare a Demand Draft of Rs.400/– drawn in favour of Airports Authority of India, payable at Delhi. Candidates must write their Name on the reverse side of the DD.
SC/ST/Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees.

How to Apply:Apply on prescribed application format only. Application form can be downloaded from the official website of AII — www.airportsindia.org.in (Form can be print-out from the below given alternative link).

The Application form must be enclosed with attested copies of testimonials such as – Educational Qualification certificates, Driving License, Caste certificate, Age proof certificate (Madhyamik certificate), DD of prescribed fee, Two recent passport size photographs (one affixed on the form and other one stapled and mention Name of the Candidate on the reverse side) plus any other relevant documents.
