North Central Railway (NCR), Allahabad, is recruiting 2715 candidates for Erstwhile Group-D posts — Gateman, Peon, Trackman, Helper, Safaiwala, Porter, Khalasi, Multi skilled workers and Etc. Employment Notice No. 01/2013 Dated : 27.07.2013. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format. qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief details is given below —

Total No. of Vacancies: 2715 Nos. (Gen—1523; SC—427; ST—223; OBC—455; Minority—87). Out of total vacancies, 539 for ex-servicemen and 28 for PWD candidates.

9. Helper Genl. (Electrical): 38 Nos. 
10. Helper TRD/ TRS/ RSO (Electrical): 115 Nos. 
11. Safaiwala (Electrical – OP): 3 Nos. 
12. Helper/ Office Khalasi/ Multi skilled workers (General Admn./ Personnel): 50 Nos. 
13. Helper Workshop (Mech./ Elect.) (Workshop/ JHS): 97 Nos 
14. Khalasi (Dy. CMM/ JHS): 50 Nos. 
15. Helper (CPOH/ Workshop): 15 Nos. 

Educational Qualification (Minimum): Class 10 pass or ITI or equivalent qualification.

Age Limit: between 18yrs to 33 yrs as on 01.01.2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Examination Fee: Rs.100/- is to paid in form of Crossed Demand Draft/ Bank Draft or IPO drawn in favour of — “Chairman, Railway Recruitment Cell, North Central Railway Allahabad” payable at “Allahabad”.

All women candidates, SC/ST/Muslims/ Christians/Sikhs Buddhists/Zorastrians (Parsis) candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees. Economically backward class candidates whose family income is less than Rs. 50,000 per annum are exempted from examinations fees.

The Application form must be enclosed (firmly stitched) with self- attested copies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualification, Age proof, Caste certificate and etc (See the below link)

Candidates should mention “Application For Group ‘D’ Posts” on the top of the envelope containing the application. Physically Handicapped candidates should also write “Physically Handicapped” on the right side of the envelope.
The candidates should send his application duly filled in all respect along with required documents by ORDINARY POST ONLY. Application may also be dropped in the Box kept in the Railway Recruitment Cell Office for this purpose.
