Air India Air Transport Services Limited (AIATSL) is recruiting 376 Ramp Service Agent, Utility Agent cum Ramp Driver and Junior Customer Agent for ground duties at Kolkata Airport and Mumbai Airport on contract period of 03 years. Selection of the candidates will be through Walk-in-Interview on scheduled dates (See below). Educational Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief details are given below —
VACANCIES FOR GROUND DUTIES AT KOLKATA AIRPORT
1. Junior Customer Agent: 97 Nos. (Gen—50; SC—21; ST—5; OBC—21)
Qualification: Minimum Higher Secondary pass (Class 12 pass)
2. Utility Agent cum Ramp Driver: 55 Nos. (Gen—29; SC—12; ST—3; OBC—11)
Qualification: Minimum Matriculation pass (Class 10 pass) and must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.
VACANCIES FOR GROUND DUTIES AT MUMBAI AIRPORT
1. Ramp Service Agent/ Ramp Service Agent (Lower Grade): 124 Nos. (Gen—71; SC—11; ST—1; OBC—41)
Qualification: 03 years Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Electronics / Automobile Engineering OR ITI with NCTVT (total 3 years) in Motor Vehicle / Auto Electrical / Air Conditioning / Diesel Mechanic / Bench Fitter and Welder experience), after passing SSC / equivalent examination with English and Local language, as one of the subjects.
Candidates applying for Ramp Service Agent must possess valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence and Candidates apply for Ramp Service Agent (Lower Grade) must possess Light Motor Vehicle Driving License
2. Utility Agent cum Ramp Driver: 100 Nos. (Gen—51; SC—15; ST—7; OBC—27)
Qualification: Matriculation pass (Class 10 pass) with English as one of the subject. Local language as a subject in SSC would be preferred. Candidates must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving licence.
Age Limit (For all the above posts): Maximum 28 years as on 01/01/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Emoluments: Candidates will be engaged on contractual basis for duration of 03 years.
For Junior Customer Agent — Rs.9200/-, Rs.10350/- and Rs.11,500/- for first year, second year, third year respectively.
For Utility Agent cum Ramp Driver — Rs.9200/-, Rs.10350/- and Rs.11,500/- for first year, second year, third year respectively.
For Ramp Service Agent/ Ramp Service Agent (LG) — Rs.13800/-, Rs.14950/- and Rs.16100/- for first year, second year, third year respectively.
Candidates’ Selection: Applicants walking in, will have to appear for a Trade Test including driving HMV / LMV as per the post applied for on the same day / following day(s). Those who qualify in the Trade Test will have to appear for Personal Interview (s) on the same day / following day(s).
