1. Kolkata(06-Male)/Bagdogra(02-Female): 08 posts (SC-05, OBC-03)
2. Bhubaneswar(04-Male/01-Female): 05 posts (UR-05)
3. Patna(02-Male)/Gaya(01-Male/ 01-Female): 04 posts (UR-03, OBC-01)
4. Guwahati (02-Male/03-Female)/Silchar(01-Female)/ Lilabari(01-Female): 07 posts (UR-03, OBC-02, SC-01, ST-01)
5. Aizawl(Female): 01 posts (UR-01)
6. Shillong(Female): 01 posts (UR-01)
7. Dimapur(Male): 01 posts (UR-01)
Educational Qualification:
1. Candidates with valid Basic AVSEC and/or Screener Certificate: Should possess valid basic AVSEC Certificate and/or Screener Certificate.
2. Candidates without Basic AVSEC and/or Screener Certificate: Graduate in any discipline (minimum 03 years duration) with ability to speak Hindi, English and conversant with local language.
Preferable:
i) BCAS Basic AVSEC (12 days new pattern) Qualified
ii) BCAS Certified XBIS Screener (Valid Certification)
iii) BCAS Certified In-Line Screener (Valid certification)
iv) NCC ‘B’/ ‘C’ Certificate
v) Knowledge of fire fighting
vi) Knowledge in Industrial security
vii) Knowledge in disaster management
viii) Knowledge of unarmed combat
ix) Legal Knowledge
x) Armed forces/Police back grounds
xi) Diploma/Certificate course in Computers
Age Limit: Maximum-28 years as on 01/01/2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs 14,610/- and additional allowances Rs.1000/- for BASIC AVSEC and Rs.1500/- for X-BIS per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cms (162.5 cms for ST candidates and 165 cms for SC/OBC)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cms (150 cms for ST candidates and 155 cms for SC/OBC)
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Endurance Test, Written Examination and Personal Interview. Written Examination will be held on 07/02/2017 in Kolkata and 12/02/2017 in Guwahati.
