Airports Authority of India (AAI), Northern Region, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 84 posts of Junior Assistant (Fire Service). JUNIOR ASSISTANT (FIRE SERVICE)

No. of Vacancies: 84 Nos. (UR-43, SC-14, ST-04, OBC-23)

 

Educational Qualification: i) 10th pass plus three years regular Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Fire with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade OR 12th pass (Regular Study) with 50% marks or equivalent grade.
ii) Candidates must have valid Heavy vehicle driving License OR valid medium vehicle License issued at least one years before OR valid light motor vehicle License issued at least two years before.

 

Candidates who are domicile of Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh may only apply.

 

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years as on 01/10/2017. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.12500 – Rs.28500

 

Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 167 cm; Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cm; Chest (expanded) — 86 cm; Weight — 55 kg
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cm; Weight — 45 kg

Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination, Physical Standard, Driving Test. Centre for examination will be in Delhi / NCR region.
