OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT AND SESSION COURT OF ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ISLANDS IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 28 POSTS OF LOWER GRADE (CLERK / TYPIST / COPYIST), MULTI TASKING STAFF AND DRIVER. LAST DATE — 25/10/2017
1. LOWER GRADE (CLERK / TYPIST / COPYIST)
No. of Vacancies: 09 Nos. (Gen-03, OBC-03, ST-01, DC-02)
Educational Qualification: i) Pass in Senior Secondary School certificate examination (12th Std.) or equivalent from a recognized Board / University.
ii) Should be able to type 35wpm in English and 30wpm in Hindi on computer.
Desirable: Working knowledge in Computer.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-33 years for male and 38 years for female as on 25/10/2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.19900/- per month.
2. MULTI TASKING STAFF
No. of Vacancies: 17 Nos. (Gen-10, OBC-06, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation (10th Std.) pass or equivalent from a recognized Board / University.
ii) Ability to read and write Hindi and English.
Desirable: i) Training in basic and refresher course in Home Guard and Civil Defence.
ii) Ability to ride bicycle.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-33 years for male and 38 years for female as on 25/10/2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18000/- per month.
3. DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (Gen-02)
Educational Qualification: i) 10th Std pass from a recognized Institution.
ii) Must possess a valid Light Vehicle Driving License.
Desirable: i) Two years experience in driving Light Motor Vehicle.
ii) Must be able to read English Numerals and good knowledge of traffic Regulations.
iii) Knowledge of motor mechanism and capable to locate and carry out minor running and repairs in vehicle.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-33 years for male and 38 years for female as on 25/10/2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.19900 per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Exam, Typing test, Skill Testand Trade Test wherever applicable.
