Andaman & Nicobar Administration, Directorate of Education is inviting application in the prescribed format for the post of Post Graduate Teacher, Graduate Trained Teacher and Primary School Teacher. Total vacancies — 422 Nos. Interested and eligible candidates from all over India may apply for the vacancies. Qualification norms and brief details are given below —

POST GRADUATE TEACHER 
Number of Vacancies: 26 Nos. (Gen—13; OBC—09; ST—04)
Subjects — English, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, History, Pol. Science, Economics, Geography, Commerce, Home Science, Fine Arts, Physical Education and Music.

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in relevant subject and Bachelor’s degree in Education.
Doctorate degree in concerned subject and or Three years teaching experience is desirable.

Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 37yrs for Male candidates and between 18yrs to 40yrs for Female candidates.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300—Rs.34800 plus Grade Pay: Rs.4800/-

2. GRADUATE TRAINED TEACHER 
Number of Vacancies: 181 Nos. (Gen—92; OBC—55; ST—34)
Subjects — English, Social Science, Maths, Physical Science, Life Science, Fine Arts and Home Science.

Educational Qualification: Four years integrated course B.A. B.Ed/ B.Sc, B.Ed in the concerned subject with atleast 50% in aggregate  OR Bachelor’s degree with atleast 50% marks in the concerned subjects and in aggregate including elective and languages (See the advt. for combination subjects). Age Limit: Maximum 30yrs
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300—Rs.34800 plus Grade Pay: Rs.4600/-

3. PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER 
Number of Vacancies: 215 Nos.
Subjects — Hindi, English, Bengali 

Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary pass (Class 12) with atleast 50% amrks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education, like – D.Ed., etc.

Age Limit: Maximum 30yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300—Rs.34800 plus Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-

Upper age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per Govt. norms. Age mentioned above will be counted as on last date of application.
