ANDAMAN & NICOBAR POLICE INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 60 POSTS OF CONSTABLE (EXECUTIVE). LAST DATE — 04/10/2017

 

1. CONSTABLE (EXECUTIVE)
No. of Vacancies: 60 Nos. (Gen-38, OBC-22)

 

Educational Qualification: 10+2 Pass from a recognized Board/ University.

 

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years for male and 30 years for Female as on 04/10/2017. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.2000/-

 

Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 168 cm; Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cm; Chest (expanded) — 85 cm; Weight — 50 kgs
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 155 cm; Weight — 45 kgs

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination, Physical Edurance Test and Medical Test.

Written Examination will be held at Port Blair and Physical Endurance Test will be held at Port Blair, Mayabunder, Car Nicobar, Nancowry and Campbell bay.

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Andaman & Nicobar Police — www.police.andaman.gov.in

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Andaman & Nicobar Police — www.police.andaman.gov.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 05/09/2017 to 04/10/2017

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper. One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 13/10/2017
