ANDHRA PRADESH POLICE, STATE LEVEL POLICE RECRUITMENT BOARD INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 4548 POSTS OF STIPENDIARY CADET TRAINEE (SCT) POLICE CONSTABLES (CIVIL), STIPENDIARY CADET TRAINEE (SCT) POLICE CONSTABLES (AR) AND WARDERS (MALE / FEMALE). LAST DATE — 14-09-2016
1. Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (Civil)(Men/Women) in Police Department: 3216 Nos.
2. Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (AR) (Men/Women) in Police Department: 1067 Nos.
3. Warders (Male) in Prisons and Correctional Services Department: 240 Nos.
4. Warders (Female) in Prisons and Correctional Services Department: 25 Nos.
Educational Qualification (for all above post): Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examinations in both the 1st year and 2nd year.
Physical Standard:
(i) For the post Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (Civil) and Stipendiary Cadet Trainee(SCT) Police Constables (AR)
a) Height: Must not be less than 167.6 cms (152.5 cms for Women)
b) Chuest: Must not be less than 86.3 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
c) Weight: Must not be less than 40 kgs for women
(ii) For the post Warders (Male and Female)
a) Height: Must not be less than 168 cms (153 cms for women)
b) Chest: Must not be less than 87 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
c) Weight: Must not be less than 45.5 kgs for Women
Age Limit:
(i) For Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT), Police Constable (Civil) and Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT), Police Constable (AR): Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years as on 01/07/2016.
(ii) For Warders (Male and Female) in Prisons and Correctional Services Department: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2016
Pay Scale (for all above post): Rs.16,400/- Rs.49,870/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Written Test, Physical Measurements Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Final Written Examination. Preliminary Written Test will be held on 16.10.2016 (SUNDAY) from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM.
