ANDHRA PRADESH TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (APTET-DECEMBER, 2017)
Educational Qualification:
For Class I – V
Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates) and Two year Diploma in Elementary Education / Four year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / Two year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates) and year Diploma in Elementary Education / Four year Bachelor of Elementary Education. (B.El.Ed.) / Two year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed as per NCTE guidelines.
For Class VI – VIII
B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates) AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education)
OR
B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks (40%.marks SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates) AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed as per NCTE guidelines.
OR
Four year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates)
OR
Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects (OR) Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) (OR) Graduation in Literature (OR) Post Graduation in Language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Computer Based Test. Computer Based Test will consists of two papers viz. Paper-I & Paper-II.
Paper-I for classes I to V and Paper-II for classes VI to VIII.
Candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for the both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II.
Examination will be held from 17.01.2018 to 27.01.2018 (9:30am to 12pm) for Paper-I and (02:30pm to 5pm) for Paper-II.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- for each Paper-I & Paper-II as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
