2. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT “A”

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences or three years Diploma in Engineering/ Equivalent from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable: (i) B.Li.Sc. or equivalent diploma with at least one year working experience in modern library of reputed Research & Development Laboratories, Science & Technology Institutes/Academic Institutions.
(ii) Knowledge in operation of library upkeep software. Fair knowledge of emerging technologies and online databases.
iii) Good interpersonal & communication skills and ability to multi-task will be an added advantage.
Age Limit: Maximum-30 years
Pay Scale: Rs.9,300 – Rs.34,800 and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
ADMINISTRATIVE POST
3. ASSISTANT “A”
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos. (OBC-02, SC-01, OC-02)
Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized university with good academic record PLUS
Experience: Minimum three years of experience in Administration/Human Resource/Finance & Accounts/Stores & Purchase/Secretarial works in Government Departments/Scientific Institutions.
Desirable: i) Knowledge of Central Govt. Administrative/ Financial/Stores and Purchase Rules & Regulations.
ii) Working knowledge in computerized and ERP environment.
iii) In case of Secretarial works, the candidate should be computer savvy with data entry skills, preparation of presentations, good working knowledge in MS office and internet browsing.
iv) Good interpersonal & communication skills and ability to multi-task will be an added advantage.
Age Limit: Maximum-28 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20,200 and Grade Pay Rs.2,800/-
Candidates’ Selection: Selection for Scientist “F” posts will be through personal interview and Written Test/Trade or Skill Test for Technical Assistant “A” and Assistant “A”
