Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is recruiting 11 Nos. persons for the post of Assistant Managers (Boiler Operation) for their IISCO Steel Plant at Burnpur, West Bengal. Reservation of posts for SC/ST/OBC is as per norms.
Qualification: Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Power Plant Engineering with BOE Certificate (1st Class Proficiency) issued by State Boiler Inspection Authorities.
Experience: 4yrs of minimum experience in operation / maintenance of boilers in any Thermal Power Generation.
Age: within 34yrs as on 01/07/2012. Relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.24900—Rs.50500 and other allowances.
Selection of candidates will be done through Written Examination and then qualified candidates will be called for Interview. Date and venue will be intimated to the eligible candidates through email only. No call letter by post will be sent to the candidates; therefore they should mention their email id while applying online.
Selected candidates will be on probation of one year before confirmation.

After submitting the Online application, candidates should print-out the system generated application.
The print-out system generated application form is to be send at the below address along with requisite documents in support of Qualification/ Engineering Certificate, BOE Certificate, Experience proof, Caste, Age and etc in self attested copies.
The top of the envelope should be superscribed — “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT MANAGER (BOILER OPERATIONS)”
