No. of Vacancies: 50 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 30 posts (UR-20, OBC-02, SC-05, ST-03)
ii) Electrical: 20 posts (UR-13, OBC-02, SC-03, ST-02)
Educational Qualification: Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering /Technology or Five year integrated Master’s degree or Dual Degree programme in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.
Age Limit: Maximum-27 years and 29 years (for candidates having two years’ full time Post Graduate in Engineering or Business Administration/ Management) as on 01/09/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs 20600- Rs.46500
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Interview based on the GATE-2018 Marks.
Selected candidates as Engineer Trainees will undergo training for one year. During training period, basic pay of Rs 20600/-pm will be paid. After successful completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed as Engineers. Candidates appearing for GATE – 2018 can only apply.
