Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Bokaro Steel Plant is recruiting 264 Nos. “Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee)/ S-1”. Advt. No. : BSL/R/2012-01. Madhyamik pass candidates who meets the below mentioned criteria may apply. Application form can be prepared on plain paper. Details below—
1. Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee): 264 Nos. (Gen-114; SC-35; ST-80; OBC-35). Out of them 11 Nos. for PH candidates.
Qualification: Matriculation pass and have passed All India Trade Test conducted by N.C.V.T. for vocational Training after completing the stipulated period of Apprenticeship training in an Integrated Steel Plant.
Physical Standard: –
Height: 155 cms,
Weight: 45 Kgs
Chest (Expanded): 79 cms
Chest (Unexpanded): 75 cms
Eyesight: 6/9 without glasses
Colour Vision Normal: (Colour blindness will be a disqualification).
Age: within 28yrs as on 1/3/2012. Age relaxation—OBC: 3yrs; SC/ST: 5yrs; PH: 10yrs. Candidates should produce Caste certificate/ PH certificate to avail relaxation.
Pay Scale: Consolidated pay- Rs.6600 — for first year and Rs.7700 in 2nd year of the training. After completing the training of two years, salary will be Rs.8600 — Rs.12080
Candidates will be selected through Written test followed by Interview. date and venue of Written test/ Interview will be intimated later.
The selected candidates will have to go through training which will be of two years and may extendable by another two years as per requirement. On successful completion of training, candidates will be regularised as “Attendant-cum-Technician” in S-I grade.
How to Apply: Prepare a Crossed Demand Draft of Rs.150 (Rs.50 for SC/ST/PWD) in favour of SAIL—Bokaro Steel Plant, and payable at—Bokaro Steel City. Application fee in other forms will not be accepted.

Along with envelope, enclosed the following Self-Attested copies of the documents—
- Filled in application form in prescribed format duly signed with recent passport size , self attested photograph affixed & four additional passport size photographs .
- Crossed Demand Draft for application fee (as applicable).
- Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC-non-creamy layer candidates as given in Annexure I & II (if and as applicable)
- Declaration for OBC candidates that they do not belong to persons/sections (Creamy Layer) in Annexure III (if applicable)
- Proof of date of Birth (Matriculation Certificate).
- Disability Certificate for PH candidates (Format at Annexure- IV) (if applicable)
- Employment Exchange Registration Card (if applicable).
- Pass certificate & Mark Sheet (all years) for Educational & Professional Qualifications.
- Certificate of having completed Trade Apprenticeship Training in an Integrated Steel Plant.
- Experience Certificate showing relevant experience (if applicable)
