Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Kochi Refinery is recruiting 71 Posts of General Workman-B and General Workman-B (Trainee). BPCL INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR GENERAL WORKMAN (B/ TRAINEE). LAST DATE – 15/09/2014
1. GENERAL WORKMAN-B
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows—
(i) Chemical: 30 Nos.
(ii) Mechanical: 30 Nos.
Reservation: Out of 60 Posts, 6 posts are reserved for SC, 1 post for ST, 16 Posts for OBC and 1 post each for HH/OH.
Educational qualification (For both discipline): First class diploma in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering (Full time course) with 60% but for SC/ST/HH/OH with 50%.
Experience (For both discipline): One year (Experience OR Apprenticeship Training) in a Refining/Petroleum/Power/Chemical/Lube/Petrochemical/ Fertilizer Industry.
Pay Scale: 33,790 /-PM with other allowances.
4. GENERAL WORKMAN-B (TRAINEE)
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows—
(i) Turner: 3 Nos.
(ii) Welder: 3 Nos.
(iii) Fitter: 3 Nos.
(iv) Mechanic (Motor Vehicle): 2 Nos.
Reservation: Out of above 11 Posts, 1 post for SC, 1 post for ST and 3 Post for OBC.
Educational qualification (For all disciplines): Pass 10th. A Candidate should have passed National Trade Certificate with 60% (SC/ST/HH/OH with 50%) and Apprenticeship Certificate in the respective trade.
Desirable: HVD Driving License
Pay Scale: 31,340 /-PM with other allowances.
Age limit (For all above posts): 18-30 yrs as on 01.08.2014. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.
Mode of Selection:-
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Interview and Medical Examination. Centre for written test will be at Kochi.
