Border Security Force (BSF), Communication Wing, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 622 posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (RM) and Head Constable (RO) in BSF Communication Set-up. BORDER SECURITY FORCE (BSF), COMMUNICATION WING, INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 622 POSTS OF ASI (RM) AND HC (RO). LAST DATE — 15.07.2016

 

1. Assistant Sub-Inspector (RM): 152 Nos. (UR-76, OBC-41, SC-23, ST-12)
Educational Qualification: Matric with 3 year Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic Appliances.
OR
10+2 or Intermediate or equivalent with aggregate marks of Fifty percent with selective subject being Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
Age Limit: Not below -18 years or more than – 25 years as on 15 /07/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20, 200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2800/-

 

2. Head Constable (RO): 470 Nos. (UR-323, OBC-30, SC-52, ST-65)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and two year Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Radio and TV or Electronics or Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Age Limit: Not below -18 years or more than 25 years as on 15 /07/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20,200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2400/-

 

Physical Standards (For all above posts):
1. Male Candidates:
(i) Height– 168 cms (165cms in case of hilly area/NE candidates and 162.5 cms in case of ST / Adivasis or Tribals, Mizos and Nagas),
(ii) Chest – unexpansion- 80 cm and expansion- 85 cms (Expanded – 76 cms and UnExapanded-81cms), (iii) Weight – Corresponding to Height and age

2. Female Candidates:
(i) Height – 157 cms (155cms in case of hilly area candidates and 154 cms in case of ST / Adivasis or Tribals, Mizos and Nagas)
(ii) Chest – Not applicable
(iii) Weight – Corresponding to Height and age

Candidates must be physically fit and free from any bodily defect/deformity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Upper age relaxation for Ex-serviceman and others, if any, as per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination/ Descriptive Test/ Dictation Tests, Physical Efficiency Test (Race/Long Jump/ High Jump) and Medical Examination.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.50/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Inspector General/DIG/Comdt, to whom the print out of application has to be sent and payable at respective SBI/post office.  (See PDF file given below for list of addresses)
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST & BSF CANDIDATES.

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Border Security Force (BSF) — rectt.bsf.gov.in (See link to Application form given below) from dated 16.06.2016 to 15.07.2016

Candidates willing to apply for both the post will have to submit separate application forms and fee for each post.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper.
One print out of online application form along with Original Bank Draft will be sent to the recruitment centers of the candidate’s choice as opted in online application, within 15 days from last date of online application form, i.e. 30/07/2016 (See PDF file given below for complete list of Center and their addresses).

Candidates must also enclose 02 (25×12 cms) Self-Addressed envelope affixed with postage stamp of Rs.27/- on each.
The envelope containing the print-out/enclosures should be superscribed on top with — “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ____”
