Border Security Force, New Delhi is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 230 posts of Sub Inspector (Workshop/ Master/ Engine Driver), Head Constable (Master/ Engine Driver/ Workshop) and Constable (Crew) in BSF Water Wing-2015. 1. Sub Inspector (Workshop): 02 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering OR 03yrs Diploma in Mechanical or Marine or Automobile Engineering
Age Limit: Between 20 to 25 years as on last date of application.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- – Rs.34800/- and Grade pay of Rs.4200/-

 

2. Sub Inspector (Master): 08 Nos. (Gen-6; OBC-1; ST-1)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 or its equivalent and Second class Master certificate issued by the Central or State Inland Water Transports Authority or Mercantile Marine Deptt.
Age Limit: Between 20 to 28 years as on last date of application.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- – Rs.34800/- and Grade pay of Rs.4200/-

 

3. Sub Inspector (Engine Driver): 13 Nos. (Gen-8; OBC-3; SC-1; ST-1)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 or its equivalent and First Class Engine Driver certificate issued by Central or State Inland Water Transports Authority or Mercantile Marine Deptt.
Age Limit: Between 20 to 28 years as on last date of application.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- – Rs.34800/- and Grade pay of Rs.4200/-

 

4. Head Constable (Master): 69 Nos. (Gen-30; OBC-21; SC-11; ST-7)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation and Serang Certificate
Age Limit: Between 20 to 25years as on last date of application.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- and Grade pay of Rs.2400/-

 

5. Head Constable (Engine Driver): 68 Nos. (Gen-30; OBC-23; SC-8; ST-7)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation and should posses IInd Class Engine Driver Certificate
Age Limit: Between 20 to 25years as on last date of application.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- and Grade pay of Rs.2400/-

 

6. Head Constable (Workshop): 04 Nos. (SC-2; ST-2)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation and ITI Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel/ Petrol Engine), Machinist/ Welder/ Capentry/ Electrician/ Fitter/ Air Conditioner Technician/ Electronics/ Plumbing/ Upholstering/ Painting
Age Limit: Between 20 to 25years as on last date of application.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- and Grade pay of Rs.2400/-

 

7. Constable (Crew): 66 Nos. (Gen-29; OBC-13; SC-03; ST-21)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and 01 year experience in operating of Boat below 265 HP and should know swimming (must possess certificate swimming certificate)
Age Limit: Between 20 to 25years as on last date of application.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- and Grade pay of Rs.2000/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD & as per Govt. norms for Ex-Servicemen & others

Note: 10% of vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen.
