The University of Burdwan, West Bengal is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 02 posts of Junior Assistant and Peon. THE UNIVERSITY OF BURDWAN, WEST BENGAL IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 02 POSTS OF JUNIOR ASSISTANT AND PEON. LAST DATE — 28/03/2016.

 

1. Junior Assistant for the Department of Education: 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Computer Degree/Diploma/Certificate of at least six months’ duration having knowledge of O.S., Word, Excel etc.
Desirable: Graduate
Age Limit: Not above 40 years as on 02/03/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.7, 200/- Rs.25, 400/- with Grade Pay Rs.3300/-

 

2. Peon for the Department of Education: 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: Passed Class VIII
Desirable: Madhyamik or equivalent passed
Age Limit: Not above 40 years as on 02/03/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5, 400/- Rs.18, 600/- with Grade Pay Rs.1800/-)

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through tests/examinations and interview

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.250/- (Rs.150/- in case of OBC and Rs.100/- in case of SC, ST, PWD Candidates) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through crossed demand draft drawn in favour of Finance Officer, the University of Burdwan

Candidates must also enclose 01 (9″ X 4″) Self-Addressed envelope with the Application Form affixed  

Note: Candidates who want to apply for both the posts must apply in separate application form against each post

 

Last Date and Address: Completed application in prescribed format along with photo-copies of all credentials has to be submitted in the office of the Registrar from 04/03/2016 to 28/03/2016 (up to 4 p.m.)
