VACANCIES AS PER ADVT. NO. 1/2015:
1. Research Officer: 11 Nos. (Gen)
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows—
(i) Medicine: 1 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.B.B.S plus two years experience OR P.G degree in Medicine.
(ii)Pathology: 4 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.B.B.S, Degree/Diploma in Pathology and 2 years research/teaching/hospital experience in Pathology OR P.G degree in Pathology.
(iii) Pharmacognosy: 1 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Botany/Medicine Plants OR M.Pharma (Pharmacognosy).
(iv) Pharmacology: 2 Nos.
Educational Qualification: PG degree in Pharmacology/Drug Assay, 3 years research/teaching experience in Pharmacology.
(v)Botany: 1 Nos.
Educational Qualification: PG degree in Botany, 5 years Research/teaching experience in Botany OR Ph.D in Botany and 3 years research/teaching experience in Botany.
(vi)Chemistry: 1 Nos.
Educational Qualification: PG degree in Chemistry, 5 years Research/teaching experience in Chemistry OR Ph.D in Chemistry and 3 years research/teaching experience in Chemistry.
(vii)Bio-Chemistry: 1 Nos.
Educational Qualification: PG degree in Bio- Chemistry, 5 years Research/teaching experience in Bio-Chemistry OR Ph.D in Bio-Chemistry and 3 years research/teaching experience in Bio-Chemistry.
Age Limit (for all above disciplines): maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2015.
Pay Scale (for all above disciplines): Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.5400/- per month.
VACANCIES AS PER ADVT. NO.2/2015
1. Assistant Research Officer: 6 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows—
(i) Botany/Pharmacognosy: 4 Nos.
Educational Qualification: PG degree in Botany/Pharmacognosy, 3 years research/teaching experience in Botany/Pharmacognosy OR Ph.D in Botany/Pharmacognosy.
(ii) Chemistry: 2 Nos.
Educational Qualification: PG degree in Chemistry, 3 years research/teaching experience in Chemistry OR Ph.D in Chemistry.
Age Limit (for both posts): maximum 35 years as on 01.01.2015.
Pay Scale (for both posts): Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.4600/- per month.
3. Research Assistant: 9 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies —
(i) Botany: 4 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Botany, 2 years research/teaching experience in Botany OR Ph.D in Botany.
(ii) Chemistry: 4 Nos. (Gen–3 & SC—1)
Educational Qualification: PG degree in Chemistry, 3 years research/teaching experience in Chemistry OR Ph.D in Chemistry.
(iii) Pharmacology: 1 Nos.
Educational Qualification: B.V.Sc/B.Pharm/M.Sc in Pharmacology/Drug Assay.
4. Social Worker: 1 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree, 1 year Diploma in Social Worker and 1 year experience in Social Work OR P.G. degree in Sociology.
5. Statistical Assistant: 1 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree with Statistics or Mathematics with statistics as one of the subjects with 3 years experience in handling statistical data OR Master Degree in Statistics/Mathematics with statistics as one of the subjects.
6. Staff Nurse: 6 Nos. (Gen—4; OBC—1 & SC—1)
Educational Qualification: Matric, Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery and 1 year experience OR 10th/Matric passed, Nursing course certificate in Siddha Hospital and 1 year experience OR B.Sc in Nursing.
Age Limit (for all posts): Maximum 30 years as on 01.01.2015.
Pay Scale (for all posts): Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.4200/- per month.
VACANCIES AS PER ADVT. NO. 3/2015
7. Pharmacist: 2 Nos. (Gen—1 & OBC—1)
Educational Qualification: 10th/ Matric Passed, 2 years Certificate/Diploma in Siddha Pharmacy and 2 years experience in dispensery/hospital.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2800/- per month.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2015.
8. Calligrapher: 1 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Tamil Literature and working knowledge as calligrapher.
Desirable: Master’s in Tamil Literature.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2400/- per month.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 01.01.2015.
9. Lab Technician: 11 Nos. (Gen—7; SC—2 &ST—2)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Science (Bio/Chemistry/MLT/Botany) in Pharmacology OR B.Pharm, 1 year experience in Laboratory Technology in a Lab OR 12th with Science, 1 year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and 2 years experience in Hospital/Institution.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2400/- per month.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2015.
10. Lab Assistant: 3 Nos.
Educational Qualification: 12th with Science, 2 years experience in a Laboratory Technology OR Degree in Science (Chemistry/Botany) / Degree in Pharmacology OR B Pharm.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2000/- per month.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2015.
11. Lab Attendant: 24 Nos. (Gen—14; OBC—6; SC—3 ; ST—1 & PH—2)
Educational Qualification: 12th with Science.
Desirable: Certificate Course in Computer Application and Experience.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2015.
12.Dresser: 3 Nos. ( Gen—2 & OBC—1)
Educational Qualification: 10th/Matric passed, 6 months certificate in Dresser training and 1 year experience as Dresser.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.
