Under Ministry of Defence, Central Ordnance Factory, Chheoki Allahabad, is recruiting 52 persons for the post of — Lower Division Clerk, Fireman, Civilian Motor Driver, Messenger and Mazdoor. Madhyamik pass and Higher Secondary candidates who meets the below mentioned criteria may apply for the post. Details below—
1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)—2 Nos. (Gen-1; OBC-1). Out of them 1nos. for PH (VH/HH)
Qualification: Higher Secondary pass. Ability to type 30 words per minute in Typewriting in English and 25 words per minute in Typewriting in Hindi.
Pay scale: Rs,5200—Rs.20200. grade pay—Rs.1900
2. Fireman: 23 Nos. (Gen-12; SC-3; OBC-23). Out of them 1nos. for PH and 1nos. for Sportsperson.
Qualification: Madhyamik pass.
Physical Standard: Should be fit and Height—165cms; Chest—81.5 and 85 cms when expanded; Weight—min 50 kgs
Endurance Test: (i) Carrying a weight of 63.50 kgs to a distant of 183 meters within 96 seconds, (ii) Long jump of 2.7 mtrs and (iii) 3 Meter vertical rope climbing.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200- Rs.20200. Grade pay- Rs.1900
3. Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade ): 5 Nos. (Gen-3; SC-3; OBC-1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass. Must have civilian driving licence for heavy vehicles and minimum two years of driving experience.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.1900
4. Messenger: 2 Nos. (Gen-1; OBC-1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass candidates may apply. Desirable—One year experience in the trade.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200- Rs.20200. Grade Pay- Rs.1800
5. Mazdoor: 20 Nos. (Gen-10; SC-4; OBC-6). Out of the 1nos. PH, 2nos. Ex-Serviceman and 1 Nos. Sportsperson.
Qualification: Madhyamik pass.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200- Rs.20200. Grade Pay- Rs.1800
Age limit (For all above posts): between 18yrs to 27yrs as on 27/5/2012. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs; SC/ST- 5yrs, PH- 10yrs and Others- as per norms.
