Centre for Railway Information System (CRIS) is recruiting 55 Assistant Software Engineer (ASE) and Assistant Network Engineer (ANE) for its ongoing and upcoming projects. Selection will be based on the score obtained in GATE 2014. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online (See URL below). Educational Qualification requirement and brief details are given below —

CENTRE FOR RAILWAY INFORMATION SYSTEM (CRIS) – RECRUITMENT OF 55 ASE AND ANE. LAST DATE – 15/07/2014.

1. Assistant Software Engineer (ASE): 40 Nos. (Gen—20; SC—6; ST—3; OBC—11)
Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Information Technology or Computer Application or MCA or B.Sc (Computer Science & Engineering), Relevant Degree  with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates)
Paper in which GATE 2014 Score required: CS (Computer Science and Information Technology)

2. Assistant Network Engineer (ANE): 15 Nos. (Gen—8; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—4)
Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Telecommunication, Relevant Degree with min. 60% marks or equivalent grade (55% for Sc/ST/PWD candidates)
Paper in which GATE 2014 Score required: ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering)

Age Limit (for both posts): 22 to 27yrs as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4600/- plus other allowances as per norms.

The engagement to the post will be on contractual basis for a period of 5 years including Probationary period of one year. See the PDF below for details.
For selection of candidates, the GATE 2014 Score would be considered for placing the candidates in order of merit.
Date and venue of candidates’ selection will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course. 

Application Fee: Candidates shall pay Application Fee of Rs.500/- with Rs.60/- as Bank Chrages, through Bank Transaction (CRIS’s Account with State Bank of India). Fee is to be made after filling the Part-I of online application and before submitting the Part-II of application.
NO APPLICATION FEE OF SC/ST AND PWD CANDIDATES.
