SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR FILLING UP BACKLOG VACANCIES OF SCHEDULED CASTES AND SCHEDULED TRIBES IN THE TRADE OF CONSTABLE/DRIVER IN CISF – 2016
CONSTABLE/DRIVER (MALE)
No. of Vacancies: 441 Nos. (SC-364, ST-77 out of which EXSM-44)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent qualification.
Candidate should have a valid driving licence for Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle, Light Motor Vehicle and Motor Cycle with gear.
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-27 years as on 19.11.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2000/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
Height — 167 Cms for SC (160 Cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 80 Cms for SC (76 Cms for ST); Chest (expanded) — 85 Cms for SC (81 Cms for ST); Weight — Corresponding to height and age
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Eligibility test, Physical Efficiency Test and Trade Test, Written Test and Medical examination.
