UCO Bank is recruiting 1000 boys and girls for the Clerical Cadre Posts. Candidates who have qualified in Common Written Examination for Clerical Cadre in 2011 conducted by IBPS and have valid Score Card issued by IBPS are eligible to apply for the post. Brief details given below—

N.B: No. of vacancies available differs from State to State and Recruitment will be on State-wise basis therefore candidates should apply for vacancies only for that State from which they have appeared for the CWE conducted by IBPS.
Qualification: Degree in any discipline
OR Higher Secondary with 50% marks (pass only for SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-serv. and PWD candidates)
OR 60% marks in Matriculation (Class-10) (50% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC and Ex-Serv.)
Essential Eligibility: (i) Candidates must have valid Score Card issued by IBPS, (ii) Certificate in Computer Knowledge, (iii) Proficiency in Official language of the State for which candidates opt to apply.
N.B: Candidates must have acquired the above mentioned all qualification before 1/8/2011.
Age: between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 1/8/2011. Age relaxation—OBC: 3yrs, SC/ST- 5yrs; PWD—10yrs; Widows/ legally divorced/separated women—9yrs, Ex-Serviceman and All Others—as per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.7200—Rs.19300
Selection Steps: On basis of performance in CWE conducted by IBPS, shortlist will be prepared and then shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.
Interview will be of 75 marks out of which 40% marks will be qualified marks (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and Ex-Serv. candidates)
Interview will be held at respective centres of each State. Date and venue of Interview will be informed to the candidates through Call letters
Appointed candidates will be on Probation for period of minimum 6 months which may further extended by another 3 months in the Bank’s discretion. On successful completion of probation period only candidates will be confirmed in the Bank’s services.

Before filling the online application form candidates should deposit the Application fee. After depositing the fee, revisit the bank’s website and click the link—“Recruitment of Clerical Cadre-2012”
Finally submit the application. Doing so will generate an Application with unique Registration No. candidates should make print-out copy of the generated application and then paste recent photograph on the space provided and sign the application.
Application Fee: Application fee of Rs.100 (Rs.20 for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Serviceman only) has to be deposited by Fee Payment Challan through CBS branches of UCO Bank only. Payment Challan can be downloaded and print-out from the official website of UCO bank only. No other means of fee will be accepted.
The print-out application form and Fee payment receipt should be retain safely for further reference when called for Interview. Do not send any documents or application by post to the bank’s address.
Candidates, if called for Interview, should bring the print-out application form, original fee receipt and original and copies of educational documents and testimonials.
No communication will be made by bank to the candidates by post. Call letters for interview will be available on the bank’s website as well as will be emailed to the candidates’ email id. Before applying for the posts, candidates should read the recruitment notification from the bank’s website (website address given above).
