Coal Mines Provident Fund Organisation (CMPFO) is recruiting 296 Provident Fund Inspector (Group B) and Lower Division Clerk (Group C). Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for the post. Degree and Intermediate candidates may apply. Qualification norms and numbers of posts available is given below —
1. Provident Fund Inspector (Group B Non-gazetted): 15 Nos. (Gen—9; OBC—3; SC—2; ST—1)
Qualification: Degree in any discipline.
Basic knowledge in computer is desirable.
Age Limits: within 32 years.
2. Lower Division Clerk (Group C): 281 Nos. (Gen—144; OBC—82; SC—35; ST—20). Out of total vacancies; 8nos PH candidates and 28nos. Ex-Serviceman.
Qualification: Intermediate or equivalent and should have typing speed of 35 words per minute in English OR 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.
Basic knowledge in Computer is desirable.
Age Limits: within 27 years.
Age will be counted as on 12-03-2013. Upper age relaxation is as per Govt. norms i.e. SC/ST—5yrs; OBC—3yrs; PH—10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others—as per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination. Qualified candidates from Written Examination will be called for Interview (for the post of Provident Fund Inspector) OR Typing Test (for the post of LDC).
Examination will be held at respective centre according to State wise. For West Bengal – the examination centre will be – Kolkata, Asansol, Siliguri and Durgapur.
Tentative date of Online Examination – 24th March 2013 (Sunday). Candidates may download the call letters from 1st week of March 2013.

Application fee: Candidates will have pay Rs.500 (Rs.200 for SC/ST/PH/Ex-Serviceman) for the post of Provident Fund Inspector AND Rs.300/- (Rs.100 for SC/ST/PH/Ex-Serviceman) for the post of LDC.
Application fee can be paid through Fee Payment Challan which will be generated automatically after final submission of Online Application Form. through Fee Payment Challan the prescribed amount is to be deposited from any branch of State Bank of India.
N.B: Fee payment will be accepted from 2nd working day after registration and can be made within three working days at any branch of State Bank of India.
Candidates should fill the online application form accurately without providing any false information. After submission of Online application form; Registration No. and password will be generated. Candidates may note down this so that they can later visit the site again and can make necessary changes if required.
Thus after final submission of the application; system generated Fee Payment Challan will appear. Candidates must print-out the challan and should deposit the prescribed amount in any branch of SBI.
