Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 06 Posts (UR- 5, OBC- 1)

Educational Qualification: Pass in SSLC and Three year Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical disciplines issued by a State Board of Technical Education with 60% marks or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Two years experience in a Shipyard or Heavy Engineering Company or Government Establishment/Private Design Establishment/ Large Commercial Establishment with advanced proficiency in Tribon.
Age Limit: Maximum-30 years as on 24/09/2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.19,200/- for First year and Rs.19,800/- for Second year per month.

Educational Qualification: i) Pass in SSLC.
ii) a) Minimum four to six months training in Fire Fighting from a State Fire Force or Public Sector Undertaking or a Government recognised course from a reputed institute or
(b) Certificate in Nuclear Biological Chemical Defence and Damage Control (NBCD), including fire fighting on-board ships from Armed Forces/Recognised Institutions.
Experience: Minimum six months experience in fire fighting in State Fire Force or in a large Industrial Undertaking or in the Armed Forces or in Public Sector Undertakings or in Private Companies.
Desirable: Knowledge in Malayalam.
Age Limit: Maximum-30 years as on 24/09/2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.17,400/- per month.

Educational Qualification: i) Pass in SSLC.
One year Diploma/Certificate in Industrial Safety from a Government recognized institute or Public Sector Undertaking.
Experience: Minimum one year training or experience in safety in a Public Sector Undertaking or a Factory.
Age Limit: Maximum-30 years as on 24/09/2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18,400/- per month.
4. SHIP DRAFTSMAN TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 30 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 13 posts (UR- 8, OBC- 3, SC- 1,ST-1)
ii) Electrical: 17 posts (UR- 10, OBC- 4, SC- 2 , ST- 1)
Educational Qualification: Pass in SSLC and Three year Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical disciplines issued by a State Board of Technical Education with 60% marks or equivalent qualification with flair for Draftsmanship and proficiency in CAD.
Note: Selected candidates will be on training for a period of two years.
Age Limit: Maximum-25 years as on 24/09/2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.8500/-pm during the first year of training Rs.8900/-pm during the second year per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards (For Fireman only):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165 cms (160 cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cms (76 cms for ST); Chest (expanded) — 86 cms (81 cms for ST); Weight — 50 Kgs (48 Kgs for ST)
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written and Practical Test wherever applicable.
Written and Practical Test to be held at Kochi.
