1. LAUNCH MECHANIC
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-05, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Tenth Standard pass or equivalent.
Experience: Five years service on seagoing vessel with one year independent charge of engine and auxiliary machinery.
Desirable: i) Certificate of competency for inland Driver Class-II
ii) Certificate of Service.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years as on 15/08/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
2. SUKHANI
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-04, ST-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Tenth Standard pass or equivalent.
Experience: Seven years service on sea going vessel with two year experience in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted with auxiliary sails.
Desirable: i) Certificate of competency as for Inland Master Second Class.
ii) Certificate of Service.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years as on 15/08/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
3. SEAMAN
No. of Vacancies: 08 Nos. (UR-05, ST-02, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Tenth Standard pass or equivalent.
Experience: Three years experience in seagoing mechanized vessel with two year experience in helmsman and Seamanship work.
Desirable: Certificate of competency as ‘Mate of fishing vessel’ issued by bthe Marine Mercantile Department.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on 15/08/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
4. GREASER
No. of Vacancies: 08 Nos. (UR-05, ST-02, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Tenth Standard pass or equivalent.
Experience: Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance.
Desirable: Certificate of Competency as Engine driver of fishing vessel issued by the Marine Mercantile Department.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on 15/08/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
5. TRADESMAN
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: Tenth Standard pass or equivalent.
I.T.I. certificate in Mechanical / Diesel / Mechani / Fitter /Turner /Welder/ Electrician / Instrumental / Carpentry.
Experience: Two years experience in Enginerring/Automobile /Ship Repair Organisation.
Desirable: i) Experience in Fibre class Reinforce Plastic lamination and repair work.
ii) First Aid / Fire Fighting / Industrial Safety course.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on 15/08/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Skill Test.
