District Social Audit Unit, Cooch Behar Zilla Parishad, Cooch behar is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 380 posts of Village Resource Person (VRP) for conducting Social Audit for the F.Y 2017-18 in the following Blocks under district Coochbehar viz. – Haldibari, Sitai, Tufanganj, Mekhliganj and Sitalkuchi. VILLAGE RESOURCE PERSON (VRP)
No. of Vacancies: 380 Nos. (Approx 10 posts in each Gram Panchayat under below listed Blocks)
Block wise vacancies:
(i) Haldibari Block: 60 Posts.
(ii) Sitai Block: 50 Posts.
(iii) Tufanganj Block: 02 Posts.
(iv) Mekhliganj Block: 80 Posts.
(v) Sitalkuchi Block: 80 Posts.
Educational Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent pass with minimum 50% of marks.
Candidate or family members of the candidate should be working in MGNREGA (100 days works)
Candidates should not be related to PRI representatives, Supervisors/ mates and other officials of implementing agencies.
Candidates should be a permanent of the Block for which he/she is applying.
Candidate should be physically fit.
PREFERENCES:
Women candidates belonging to SC/ST category will be given preferences.
Preference will be given to candidates from Self Help Group
Candidates who have gained experiences over the year in the field of Social Audit, if satisfies the aforementioned criterion, will be given preferences.
Age Limit: 18 years to 35 years as on 01/01/2017
The selection to the post of Village Resource Person is not a permanent job nor a temporary. There is no fixed salary for the job.
Selected candidates will work for 15 days in the financial year 2017-18. Wage as per MGNREGA on per day basis will be given.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Oral Test. Admit card for selection test will be available from 28.06.2017.
The Written Test/Oral test will tentatively on 02/07/2017 and selection list will be released on 05/07/2017
