High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, as per Employment Notification No.51/2012, is recruiting 30 persons for the posts of “Court Masters/ Personal Secretaries” in Andhra Pradesh High Court Service. The interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed format. Brief details given below—
Name of the post: Court Master/ Personal Secretaries
No. of Vacancies: 30 Nos.
Qualification and Eligibility: Degree in any discipline from recognised University
Essential Requirement: Pass in 180 or 150 words per minute in English Shorthand Examination and Pass in Typewriting by Higher Grade examination in English, conducted by the A.P. State Board of Technical Education or such other qualification as may be considered by the Hon’ble the Chief Justice to be equivalent to the said qualification.
Preference: preference will be given to those who have skills in computer.
Age limit: Should be within 34yrs of age as on 1/7/2012. Age relaxation for BC/SC/ST—5yrs; PWD—10yrs.
Pay Scale: RS.19050—Rs.45850
Selection will be made on skill test on Shorthand and Type and Interview. Test will be in Shorthand English 180 w.p.m. (3 minutes duration) and 150 w.p.m. (4 minutes duration) and the transcription to be done on Computers within 40 and 45 minutes respectively.
Shorthand test will be of 80 marks and Oral Interview will be of 20 marks.

- Degree certificate and Shorthand/ Typewriting (English only) certificate
- Age proof certificate (Matriculation certificate can be given)
- Caste certificate/ PWD certificate, if SC/ST/BC or PWD
- 3 Nos. passport size photographs attested by Gazetted Officer (paste one copy on form and two copies on Hall tickets)
- One Self addressed envelope with affixed postal stamp of Rs.30
