Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is recruiting 819 Constables (Trades & Technical) in trades of – Driver, Fitter, Burglar, Tailor, Carpenter, Cobler, Band, Cook, Washerman, Water Carrier, Painter, Safaikarmachari, and Etc. Numbers of vacancies varies from State to State. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application form within 26-11-2012. Qualification norms and etc in brief is given below —

Driver (Male), Fitter (Male), Burglar (Male), Tailor (Male), Carpenter (Male), Pipe Band (Male), Brass Band (Male), Cook (Male/ Female), Water Carrier (Male/ Female), Washerman (Male), Washerwoman (Female), Hair Dresser (Female), Safaikarmachari (Male), Barber (Male), Water Carrier (Female), Painter (Female) and Bugular (Female).

Qualification Required: Madhyamik pass or equivalent and –
For the post of Constable (Fitter), candidates must have ITI Trade certificate course in Motor Vehicle Fiiter or Motor Mechanic course with one year of experience.
For the post of Constable (Driver), candidates should posses valid ‘Transport Vehicle’ driving licence.
For rest of Other posts, Candidates must have proper working knowledge on the trade for which he/she applies.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 23yrs as on 01/08/2012. Upper age relaxation is as per norms. For OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs, Ex-Serviceman and Others – as per Govt. rules.
N.B: Since the recruitment and vacancies is according to State wise therefore Candidates residing in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Kerala may only apply.
Pay scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay: Rs.2000/- plus other allowances.
Physical Standard —
Height: For male—170cms; For female—157cms.
Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded) : 80cms/ 85cms (Only applicable for Male candidates)
Weight: Proportional to age and height as per medical standard.
Cut-off in Height and Chest for reserved category is as per Govt. norms (Refer the Advt.)
Selection of the candidates will be Written Test and Trade Test/ Practical Test. Physical Standard measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical examination for fitness test will be there.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will not be applicable to the candidates applying for post – Driver & Fitter.
Eligible candidates will be issued Admit card in due course mentioning the Date and Venue of Examination.
How to Apply: Apply on prescribed Application Form along with Application fee and attested copies of testimonials.
Application fee: Rs.50/- only in form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft or Banker’s Cheque drawn in favour of the Deputy Inspector General of Police of concerned application receiving centre (Given in the Advt.)
SC/ST/ Female candidates and Ex-Serviceman were exempted from Application fee.
Application form should be enclosed with Attested copies of testimonials and documents in support of Qualification, Age proof, Caste and Etc. Enclose two self addressed envelopes (4” x 9” size) duly affixing postage stamps for Rs. 22/- on each.
Last Date of Application: Application form along with enclosures must reach on or before 26th November 2012 (5 PM).
