Driver & Pump Operator in CISF- 826 Madhyamik Pass boys as Constable(Driver and Pump Operator) in Central Industrial Security Force.

Central Industrial Security Force is recruiting 826 boys for the post of “Constable/ Driver” and “Constable/ Driver-cum-Pump-Operator” through special recruitment drive for filling up backlog vacancies of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. The posts were on Temporary basis but are likely to become permanent. Details below—

1. Drivers/Constable (Driver)–Direct (Backlog vacancies): 683 Nos. (SC-318; ST-105; OBC-260)

2. Driver-cum-Pump-Operator/Constable (DCPO)–Direct (Backlog vacancies): 143 Nos. (SC-47; ST-22; OBC-74)

Required Qualification for both posts: Matriculation passed candidates with valid Driving Licence for Light vehicle, Heavy vehicle and Motor cycle with gear. Candidates should have minimum 3 years driving experience.

Physical Standard: –
For ST candidates—Height: 160Cms; Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 76Cms/ 81Cms
For SC and OBC candidates—Height: 167 cms, Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 80 Cms/ 85Cms.
For Garhwalis, Kumaonese, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and for candidates from states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Kashmir, and Leh & Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir—Height: 160 Cms; Chest (Unexpanded/ expanded): 78cms/ 83cms.

Weight (for all): Proportional to height and age as per medical standard.
Eye Sight: 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without glasses.
The candidates must not have knock-knees, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and any other obvious deformities. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Age limit: Candidates should be within 21yrs to 27yrs as on 25/2/2012.

Candidates Selection: After Physical measurement Test, candidates will have to go through Physical Efficiency Test which will be of—(I) Run of 800 Meters in 3 minute 15 seconds. (II) Long Jump of 11 feet within 3 chances and (III) High Jump of 3feet 6inches within 3 chances.
If qualified then will be called for Trade Test and Written Test. Trade Test will be of Driving light and Heavy Vehicle and practical knowledge of motor mechanism and ability to carry out minor repair of vehicles. And then Written test.
Finally, selected candidates will go for Medical Examination.

How to Apply: Application form can be made on prescribe application format along with a Postal Order of Rs.50 (SC/ST candidates do not require any fee). For West Bengal, candidates should prepare it in favour of— Assistant Commandant/DDO, CISF North East Zone, Kolkata and payable at—GPO Kolkata. For rest of States, please see below.
