EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 02 POSTS OF CULTURAL QUOTA IN THE DISCIPLINE SINGER AND INSTRUMENT PLAYER. LAST DATE — 09.10.2017 (24.10.2017 FOR FAR FLUNG AREAS)

 

1. CULTURAL QUOTA
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.

 

Discipline wise vacancies:

i) Singer: 01 post
ii) Instrument Player: 01 post

 

Educational Qualification: (i) 12th Pass with 50% marks from recognized board and its equivalent or Higher Education.
(ii)Possession of degree/diploma/certificate in concerned discipline from Government
recognized Institute.
Desirable: (i) Experience in the field and performance given on AIR/ Doordarshan etc.
(ii) Prizes won at National Level.

 

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-28 years as on 01.01.2018. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5200- Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1900/2000

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be conducted through Written Test and Assessment Test (Practical Demonstration & Testimonial/Prizes).

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST/Exservicemen/PWD/Minorities and Economics Backward Classes) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of FA&CAO, East Central Railway, payable at Hajipur.
