EASTERN COALFIELDS LIMITED (ECL) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 722 POSTS OF MINING SIRDAR (T&S), DY. SURVEYOR (MINING) AND OVERSEER (CIVIL). LAST DATE — 12/11/2015
1. Mining Sirdar (T & S .Gr. C): 631 Nos. (Gen-251; OBC-177; SC-148; ST-55)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent and should possess valid Mining Sirdarship Certificate of Competency from DGMS and valid Gas Testing Certification plus valid first aid certificate.
OR
Recognised Diploma or degree in Mining Engineering having valid statutory competency certificates, recognised by DGMS to work as Mining Sirdar in coal mines.
Age Limit: Not below 18 years and not above 30 years as on 01/10/2015
Basic Pay: Rs.19035.02/- per month.
2. Dy.Surveyor ( T & S. Gr. B) (For Mining): 43 Nos. (Gen-21; OBC-08; SC-08; ST-06)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 or Matriculate with valid Survey Certificate of Competency issued by Director General Mines Safety (DGMS) to work as Surveyors in the coal mines.
Age Limit: Not below 18 years and not above 30 years as on 01/10/2015
Basic Pay: Rs.20552.37/- per month.
3. Overseer (Civil): 48 Nos. (Gen-26; OBC-12; SC-07; ST-03)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 or Matriculation or equivalent examination and should possess a recognized Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years regular course from a recognised institute)
Age Limit: Not below 18 years and not above 30 years as on 01/10/2015
Basic Pay: Rs.19035.02/- per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, Ex-Servicemen and Others – as per Govt. norms.
Note: There is no bar for candidates having degree in the Civil engineering from a recognized Institute to apply for the post.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through written test of 50 marks & viva voice of 10 marks. Written test will be on General Awareness and matters related to the concern subject. Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the written test will be called for interview or viva voce.

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies out of which one copy enclosed with 03 copies of testimonials (H.S., diploma/degree gas testing , Mining Sirdarship Competency Certificate, First Aid certificates duly attested from a gazetted officer) is to be send at the below given address by post, so as to reach on or before 10/12/2015
The other copy of the print-out should be kept by the candidates for future references.
