Educational Qualification: Graduate degree and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education).
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-43 years as on 01/01/2016

2. Science Teacher: 413 Nos. (SC-79, STP-136, STH-101, OBC/MOBC-58, UR-39)
Educational Qualification: B. Sc. degree in Science and Mathematics stream and 02 year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

For Lower Primary Schools
5. Assistant Teacher:6134 Nos. (SC-567, STP-1341, STH-2117, OBC/MOBC-1557, UR-552)
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST (P)/ ST (H)/OBC/MOBC &PWD) with LP TET and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Graduate degree with LP TET and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-43 years as on 01/01/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5,200/- Rs.20,200/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.200/- (Rs.150/- for SC, ST(P), ST(H) candidates) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Director of Elementary Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF BPL CANDIDATES.
The candidates must have to submit the IPO in original at the time of document verification only, before the District Level Selection Committee of the district applied for.
