Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) is recruiting 160 candidates in the post of – Field Engineer and Field Supervisor on contractual basis for a period of 2 years or till the completion of the Project. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed Application format. Qualification norms and eligibility conditions in brief is given below—
1. Field Engineer: 52 Nos. (Gen—28; SC—8; ST—3; OBC—13)
Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech/ B.SC(Engg)/ AMIE in Electronics & Communication Engineering discipline with 55% marks
Field Experience: Should have one year Post qualification experience in design/ engineering of Optical Fibre Network, adequate experience of Construction, Testing & Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance, activities of Optical Fibre Network System (SDH/ DWDM/ G-PON/MPLS etc.).
Pay: Rs.30000/- on first year and Rs.33000/- on second year.
2. Field Supervisor: 108 Nos. (Gen—55; SC—17; ST—7; OBC—29)
Qualification: Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 55% marks.
Field Experience: Should have one year post qualification experience of construction, Testing & Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance activities of Optical Fibre Network System
Pay: Rs.23000/- on first year and Rs.25500 on second year.
Age Limits: Maximum 29yrs as on 28/02/2013. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per norms.
The engagement to the posts is purely on contractual basis for a period of 2 years or till the completion of the consultancy Project in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The selection of the candidates will on the basis of Written Test or Personal Interview (on basis of numbers of applicants).
Application fee: Rs.200 for the post of Field Engineer and Rs.100 for the post of Field Supervisor.
Application fee is to be paid in form of A/c Payee Demand Draft in favour of “POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD” Payable at Hyderabad.
SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Serviceman are exempted from Application fee.
