GAIL (India) Limited, Rajamundry, is recruiting eligible candidates to fill the vacancies in Non-Executive posts of – Technician (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation), Operator (Fire) and Assistant (S&P), for the work-centre/ units located in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —
1. Technician (Mechanical): 3 Nos. (Gen—2; OBC-NCL—1)
Qualification: Matriculation pass plus ITI Tradesmanship/NAC in Fitter/ Diesel Mechanic/ Machinist/ Turner Trade AND 2yrs post qualification experience.
2. Technical (Electrical): 3 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1; ST—1)
Qualification: Matriculation plus ITI/ NAC in Electrician/ Wireman Trade AND 2yrs post qualification experience.
3. Technician (Instrumentation): 3 Nos. (Gen—2; OBC-NCL—1)
Qualification: Matriculation plus ITI/ NAC in Instrument Mechanic/ electronics Mechanic Trade AND 2yrs post qualification experience.
4. Operator (Fire): 4 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC-NCL—1)
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent with 6 months Fireman’s Training course. Candidates must have valid Heavy vehicle/ Fire Tenders driving licence AND 2yrs post qualification experiance
5. Assistant (S&A): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Bachelor Degree with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) and minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English (in computer). Candidates should be proficient in operations of personal computer. AND 1yr post qualification experience.
N.B: The post qualification experience (for all above posts) in line in Oil/ Gas/ Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Power/ Steel Industry is preferred.
Age Limits (for all posts): Maximum 30yrs. Upper age relaxation is as per norms.
Emoluments: Candidates will be placed in S-3 Grade post in Pay Scale: Rs.12500—33000 at the Basic pay of Rs.15200 plus other allowances, with one year probation in S-3 grade. (Refer the Advt. link given below for details)
Selection of the candidates will be through Skill Test (For Technician posts) and / or Physical Endurance Test (for Fire Operator) and Computer Typing Test & Computer Proficiency Test (for Asst. – S&P) AND Interview. (Refer the Advt. link given below for details)
