GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE (GMC) IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 14 POSTS OF STAFF NURSE, ANM, TELEPHONE OPERATOR AND PHARMACIST. LAST DATE — 26/10/2017
1. STAFF NURSE
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification:
i) Certificate in Nursing from a recognized Institution.
ii) Certificate in Midwifery/ Special training for Male Nurses for 6 months duration.
OR
i) B.Sc. Nursing.
ii) Registration certificate as Registered Nurse, or registered Midwife from State Council.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
2. ANM
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification:
i) S.S.C.E. with one and half years training (Course) in Multipurpose or Health Workers Course/ 2 years of Auxiliary Nurse Mid-wife training.
ii) Registration with state Nursing Council.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
3. TELEPHONE OPERATOR
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (PD)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation or Equivalent.
ii) Two years Experience as a Telephone Operator, Capable of handling P. B.X. system with 20 lines.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
4. PHARMACIST
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (UR-02, OBC-05, ST-02, PD-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Diploma in Pharmacy from Board of Technical Education or Degree in Pharmacy from recognized University.
ii) Should be registered with the State Council of Pharmacy.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Not less than three years experience as registered Pharmacist.
ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years. as on
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through written test or verification of the documents.
