The Guahati High Court at Guwahati (The High Court of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram and Arunachal Prades), is recruting 51 persons for the posts in Grade—I and Grade—III of the Assam Judicial Service. Law Graduate candidates may apply for the post through Online system from the official website of the Guahati High Court. The eligibilty norm in brief is given below—
1. Grade—I: 13 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Law from recognised University.
Pay scale: Rs.51550—Rs.63070 plus other allowances.
Age limit: within 35yrs to 45yrs (48 yrs in case of SC/ST candidates ) as on last date of application.
Norms: Candidates should have minimum 7yrs of practice as an Advocate in the Courts of Civil and Criminal jurisdiction.
2. Grade—III: 51 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in Law from recognised University
Pay scale: Rs.27700—Rs.44770 plus other allowances
Age limit: within 35yrs (38yrs in case of SC/ST) as on last date of application
The candidates will be selected through Preliminary Examination which will be of 90 marks on — General Knowledge, Aptitude, Intelligence, Test of Comprehension and expression of Law and others from the syllabus of Law, as well as 10 marks for proficiency in the Official language of the State of Assam.
Qualified candidates from preliminary examination will be called for Main Written Exam. For details, refer the Advt.
