1. DEPUTY EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Degree in electrical engineering or in electrical and mechanical engineering or an equivalent or higher qualification.
Preference will be given to candidate having a fair knowledge of overhead distribution Electrical works operation of electrical cranes and experience in estimating.
Experience: At least four years in case of graduates out of which at least two years must have been spent in the practical work in an electrical or mechanical engineering workshop or a electrical power station provided.
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-35 years as on 09/03/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
2. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 43 Nos. (UR-25, SC-03, ST-05, BC-10)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering (Civil).
Age Limit: Maximum-35 years as on 09/03/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-
3. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (MECHANICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 11 Nos. (UR-06, BC-04, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical).
Age Limit: Maximum-35 years as on 09/03/2017.

4. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL)

Educational Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering.

6. ADDITIONAL ASSISTANT ENGINEER (MECHANICAL) / DREDGING SUPERVISOR
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (UR-04)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or Diploma in (Automobile).
Age Limit: Maximum-33 years as on 09/03/2017.
Pay Scale: s.9300 – Rs.34800, Grade Pay Rs.4400/-
Note: Candidates must have adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi language.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Competitive Examination and Personal Interview. Competitive Examination will be held in Ahmedabad/ Gandhinagar.
Candidates selected for the post will be on probation period of two years for Deputy Executive Engineer (Electrical), Assistant Engineer (Civil), Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) and Assistant Engineer (Electrical) and five years for Additional Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Additional Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) / Dredging Supervisor.

NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF RESERVED CATEGORY OF GUJARAT ONLY CANDIDATES.
Candidates belonging to reserved category of other states will be treated as General Candidates.
