CATEGORY – I TRAINEE
Number of Vacancies: 62 Nos.
Discipline & number of vacancies —
1. Chemical: 39 posts.
2. Mechanical: 11 posts.
3. Electrical: 03 posts.
4. Instrumentation: 05 posts.
5. Chemistry (Laboratory): 04 posts.
Educational Qualification: Engineering Diploma in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. For Chemistry (Lab) – B.Sc with Chemistry as Principal and Physics/ Mathematics/ Biology as subsidiary with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
CATEGORY – II TRAINEE
Number of Vacancies: 105 Nos.
Discipline & number of vacancies —
1. Mechanical (Fitter): 25 posts.
2. Electrical: 20 posts.
3. Instrument Mechanic: 10 posts.
4. Process/ Plant Operator: 50 posts.
Educational Qualification: Minimum 60% marks in SSC with Science and Maths AND ITI certificate in relevant trade. For discipline Process/Plant Operator — Higher Secondary/equivalent with minimum 60% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Age Limit:
(i) For Cat-I Trainees: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 25yrs.
(ii) For Cat-II Trainees: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 22yrs.
Age will be counted as on 01.01.2015. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Minimum height for male and female candidates shall be 152 cm and 148 cm respectively.
(ii) Weight should be correspondence to height and age of the candidates as per Medical Standard.
(iii) Distant Vision: 6/18 or better (without wearing glasses or any other aid), correctable to 6/6. Near Vision: N8 (without wearing glasses or any other aid), correctable to N6.
(iv) Free from Color blindness/ Night blindness.
