i) Excise and Taxation Inspectors: 06 posts
ii) Inspector Grade-I Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs: 02 posts
iii) Inspector (Audit) Cooperation: 64 posts
iv) Extension Officer Industries: 07 posts
v) Election Kanungo Election: 07 posts
Educational Qualification: Bachelor degree from any universities.
Desirable: Knowledge of Customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Age Limit: Between 18 years and 45 years as on 01/01/2017.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Personality Test or Interview.
Examination will be conducted at various centers located at Shimla/ Mandi/ Sundernagar / Kangra /Dharamshala/ Palampur / Solan / Una / Nahan / Bilaspur / Kullu, Hamirpur and Chamba.
Candidates belonging to the reserved category of state other than Himachal Pradesh, will be treated as General Candidates.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.400/- (Rs.100/- for General BPL , SC/ST/OBC of HP) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC). See released advertisement for more details.
NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF EX-SERVICEMEN OF H.P. CANDIDATES.
