Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is recruiting 100 Technicians & Craftsman (N0n Management) in various departments (Operations, Boiler, Maintenance & Laboratory) for its Refineries (Visakhapatnam and Mumbai) and Marketing locations (Mumbai & Kolkata Terminal). Educational Qualification norms and brief details are given below —

 

HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM CORPORATION LTD (HPCL) INVITES APPLICATION FOR 100 TECHNICIANS AND CRAFTSMAN. LAST DATE – 10/11/2014

 

1. Technician – Operations: 47 Nos.
Qualification: 60% marks in Diploma in Chemical Engg. (OR) B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) with Chemistry as principal subject with 60% marks. 50% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD

2. Technician – Boiler: 26 Nos.
Qualification: 60% marks in Diploma in Mechanical Engg. 50% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD. Desirable first class boiler competency certificate.

3. Technician – Electrical: 6 Nos.
Qualification: 60% marks in Diploma in Electrical Engg. 50% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD.

4. Technician – Instrumentation: 3 Nos.
Qualification: 60% marks in Diploma in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication Engg.50% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD.

5. Technician – Mechanical: 9 Nos.
Qualification: 60% marks in Diploma in Mechanical Engg. 50% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD.

6. Craftsman- Maint. Mech. (Chem. Plant): 3 Nos.
Qualification: 60% marks in SSC with 60% marks in ITI/NCVT in MMCP trade (Maint. Mech. Chem. Plant). 50% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD

7. Laboratory Analyst: 1 No.
Qualification: 50% marks in B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry ) with Chemistry as Principal subject

8. Junior Admn. Assistant: 1 No.
Qualification: 50% marks in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)

9. Boiler Attendant: 4 Nos.
Qualification: 60% marks in Diploma in Mechanical Engg. 50% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD AND first class Boiler Competency Certificate

 

Age Limit: Minimum 21yrs and maximum 25yrs as on 01-11-2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; Widow; PWD- 10yrs; Domicile of J&K—05yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Remuneration: Remuneration for all the above positions will be approximate ` 40000/- pm on Cost to Company Basis.

 

Selection of the candidates will be through a Written Test comprising of General Aptitude Test and Technical / Professional Knowledge.
The Written Test is likely to be conducted at 5 Centers. i.e., Mumbai, Vishakhapatnam, Kolkata, Chennai & Delhi
Candidates qualifying in the Written Test will be called for Personal Interview.

 

Application Fee: Rs.600/- is to be paid by means of fee payment challan or through online mode using Debit/ Credit card or Net banking.
SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
