ICMR-REGIONAL MEDICAL RESEARCH CENTRE, N.E. REGION IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 04 POSTS OF SCIENTIST- B/C (NON-MEDICAL) AND SCIENTIST C (MEDICAL). LAST DATE — 16/10/2017
1. SCIENTIST-B (NON-MEDICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (SC-01)
Educational Qualification: First Class Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Bioinformatics/Life Sciences / Biochemistry subject or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
OR
Second Class M.Sc. in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology / Bioinformatics/Life Sciences / Biochemistry subject plus Ph.D degree in relevant subject from a recognized University.
Desirable: i) Doctorate Degree in related subject from a recognized University for candidates with first class relevant degree.
ii) Additional Post doctoral research / teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute (s).
iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management.
iv) Two years R&D/ Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification.
Age Limit: Maximum-35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.56,100/- per month.
2. SCIENTIST-C (NON-MEDICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-02)
Educational Qualification: First class Master’s Degree in the Molecular Biology/ / Biotechnology / Bioinformatics/Life Sciences / Biochemistry subject from a recognized University with four years R &D teaching experience in the relevant subject after first class Master’s Degree.
OR
Second Class M.Sc. plus Ph.D degree in Molecular Biology / Boitechnology / Bioinformatics/Life Sciences / Biochemistry degree from a recognized University with fours years R&D/teaching experience in relevant subject after M.Sc+Ph.D.
Desirable: i) Doctorate degree in above subjects from a recognized university for candidates with 1st class relevant degree.
ii) Additional Post doctoral research / teaching experience in functional Genomics / Next Generation sequencing (NGS)/ Malaria in recognized Institute (s).
iii) Knowledge of Computer Application or Business Intelligence tools/ Data Management.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.67,700/- per month.
3. SCIENTIST-C (MEDICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (MD in Community Medicine / Anatomy / Pathology) with one year R&D / teaching experience or Post graduate diploma in Medical Subject with two years R&D/ teaching experience in the required subject from recognized university.
OR
MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized university with four years R&D / teaching experience in the required subject after MBBS Degree.
Desirable: i) MD in the relevant subject from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree.
ii) Additional post doctoral research / teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute (s).
iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management.
Age Limit: Maximum-40 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.67,700/- per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/ OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Personal discussion / Interview.
