APPRENTICES

I. For Fitter, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist
i) Tamil Nadu & Puducherry: 79 posts
(ii) Karnataka: 39 posts
(iii) Kerala: 36 posts
(iv) Telangana: 22 posts
(v) Andhra Pradesh: 24 posts
II. For Accountant
(i) Tamil Nadu & Puducherry– 70 posts
(ii) Karnataka- 30 posts
(iii) Kerala- 10 posts
(iv) Telangana- 20 posts
(v) Andhra Pradesh– 20 posts
Educational Qualification:
(i) For Fitter/ Electrician/ Electronic Mechanic/ Instrument Mechanic/ Machinist disciplines: Matric with two years regular ITI course in respective disciplines from recognized Institute.
(ii) For Accountant discipline: Full time Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates) from a recognized Institute/ University.
Note: Candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training or candidates with job experience for a period of one year or more are not eligible.
Selected candidates will be on Training for a period of One year.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.01.2018.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Personal Interview. Written test will be conducted at Chennai, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Cochin and Bangalore on 04.03.2018.
