PERMANENT COMMISSION IN ARMY EDUCATIONAL CORPS (AEC-126)
No. of Vacancies: 12 Nos.
Subjects wise vacancies:
i) MA/ M.Sc in English/ Geography/ Economics/ History/ Political Science/ International Relation – 04 posts
ii) M.Sc in Physics/ Chemistry/ Maths/ Zoology/ Botany/ Geology/ Nano Science/ Computer Science/ Electronics – 06 posts
iii) Foreign Language (MA in Chinese) – 02 posts
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in any one of the above subject with first or second division. Candidate appearing final year or awaiting result
Age Limit: 23 yrs – 27 yrs as on 01.01.2018
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 157.5 cms
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to North East and hilly areas like Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwalis, the height will be relaxed by 5 cms and weight commensurate with reduced height. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2 cms.
Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Only shortlisted candidate will be called for interview at Selection Centres, Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP) and Bangalore (Karnataka) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer.
The selected candidate will be on training for the period of 01 year at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
