Educational Qualification: Matriculation and 3yrs Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 60% marks. (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates, sports person of National Level).
Age Limit: 18 to 22 years as on 09.03.2015. The upper age relaxation for SC/ST-5 yrs and OBC-3yrs.
Pay Scale (for all posts): Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2400/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test; Physical Fitness test; Interview and Medical examination.
The written test will be held at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kochi, Visakhapatnam, Gandhi Nagar, Noida and Paradip.
Note: All original certificates and mark sheets are to be produced at the time of written test.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Run-1.6 km in 7 mins (ii) Uthak Baithak-20 squat ups (iii) Push ups-10.
Medical Standards: (i) Height-157cms (ii) Chest-should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5cms (iii) Weight-Proportionate to height and age +10% accepted. (iv) Visual Standards-6/24 (without glasses) and 6/12 with glasses.
