Indian Navy invites unmarried Engineering Graduates for SSC Officer in Executive & Technical Branch. Last Dt. 29/11/2013

The Indian Navy invites application from unmarried Engineering Graduate to join as Short Service Commissioned Officer in Executive Branch (General Services/Hydro Cadre/IT/Naval Architecture) and Technical Branches of the Indian Navy for Jul 2014 Course at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. Eligible boys and girls may apply for the vacancies from the official website of Indian Navy. Qualification norms and brief details are given below —

EXECUTIVE (GS) BRANCH:
1. Executive (GS)/Hydro Cadre (Men Only)
Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree with minimum 65% marks in aggregate in any discipline.

2. SSC (IT) — (Men only)
Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree with minimum 65% marks in aggregate in any one of the following discipline — (i) BE/B.Tech (Computer Science/Computer Engg/IT) (ii) B.Sc (IT) (iii) M.Tech (Computer Science) (iv) M.Sc (Computer) (v) BCA/MCA

3. Naval Architecture — (Men & Women)
Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree with minimum 65% marks in aggregate in any one of the following discipline — (i)Mechanical (ii)Civil (iii)Aeronautical/Aerospace (iv) Metallurgy (v) Naval Architecture

TECHNICAL BRANCH (GENERAL SCIENCE)
4. Engineering (E) Branch — Men only 
Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree with minimum 65% marks in aggregate in any one of the following discipline — (i) Mechanical (ii) Marine (iii) Automotive (iv) Mechtronics (v) Industrial & Production (vi) Metallurgy (vii) Aeronautical/Aerospace (viii) BS Marine Engg.

Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree with minimum 65% marks in aggregate in any one of the following discipline — ‘Electrical’ or ‘Electronics’ or ‘Control’ or ‘Telecommunication’ or Instrumentation or Power Men Engg. or Electronics & Communication or Control System Engg. or Power Electronics

Age Limit (For all post/braches): Candidates must be born between 02 Jul 1989 to 01 Jan 1995 (both dates inclusive)

SELECTION PROCEDURE —
The candidates will be issued call up for Services Selection Board (SSB) based on their performance in Degree Course. If a candidate possesses higher qualification with better percentage, his higher qualification will be considered for cut off.
Shortlist applications and to fix cut off percentage. No communication will be entertained on this account. SSB interviews for short listed candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore/Bhopal/Coimbatore during Jan 14 to May 14.
SSB interview will be conducted in two Stages. Stage I test consisting of intelligence test, Picture Perception and Discussion test will be conducted on the second day of arrival at SSB. For details, see the below given PDF file.

How to Apply —

After successful submission of Online Application form, the system generated Application form with unique application number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies.
One copy of such system generated print-out is to be duly signed and mailed (posted) to Post Box No. 04, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi – 110 011 along with the following documents—  Self attested photograph, Attested photo copies of 10th &12th class certificates along with Mark Sheets, other educational certificates and mark sheets of all semester/years.
Second copy of the Application form is to be retained by the candidate for record.
Applications to be sent by ordinary post only.

The top of the envelope must be superscripted with — “ONLINE APPLICATION NO. _________ APPLICATION FOR SSC GS(X)(IT/NA)/HYDRO CADRE/TECHNICAL BRANCH (E/L/SM) – JUL 2014 COURSE Qualification _____Percentage _____%.NCC ‘C’ Yes/No.”.
