Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is recruiting 70 Junior Engineering Assistant – IV in discipline of Production, Electrical Maintenance, General Fitter/ Machinist/ Rotary Equipment, Power & Utility, Fire & Safety and Instrumentation. Eligible and qualified candidates may apply prescribed Application format. The Qualification norms and information in brief is given below —
1. Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Production): 22 Nos. (Gen—11; OBC—6; SC—5)
Qualification: 3yrs diploma in Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks OR B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry and Maths with minimum 60% marks.
Experience: Minimum 2yrs.
2. Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Electrical Maintenance): 7 Nos. (Gen—4; OBC—2; SC—1)
Qualification: 3yrs diploma in Electrical Engineering with min 60% marks.
Experience: min 2yrs.
3. Junior Engineering Assistant – IV Mechanical Maintenance (Rotary Equipment/ General Fitter/ Machinist): 13 Nos. (Gen—7; OBC—3; SC—3)
Qualification: For Rotary Equipment/ General Fitter — 3yrs Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with min 60% marks OR Matriculation with ITI (Fitter) with min 60% marks.
For discipline in Machinist — 3yrs Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks OR Matriculation with ITI (Machinist) with 60% marks.
Experience: min 2yrs.
4. Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Power & Utility): 20 Nos. (Gen—9; OBC—5; SC—5; ST—1)
Qualification: 3yrs Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 60% marks OR B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (as main subjects) as a regular students with 60% marks.
Experience: min 2yrs in case of Diploma Holders and min 3yrs for B.Sc candidates as well as must have completed their Apprenticeship in Boiler operation.
5. Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Fire & Safety): 6 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC—2; SC-1)
Qualification: Matriculation/ SSC with Sub Officers course from NFSC, Nagpur or other Institute with Heavy Motor vehicle driving licence.
Physical Standards (Minimum) :-
=Height: 165 CM
=Weight: 50 Kg
=Chest: Normal 81 CM, Expanded : 86.5 CM
=Eyesight normal without glasses, colour vision normal
= Free from any vertigo problem, disease of heart, lungs, kidney and abnormal blood pressure.
Experience: 2yrs.
6. Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Instrumentation): 2 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: 3yrs diploma in Instrumentation/ Industrial Electronics Engineering with min 60% marks.
Experience: 2yrs.
Age Limits: (For all posts) Between 18yrs to 26yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs and OBC—3yrs.
Pay scale: Rs.11900—32000 plus other allowances.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test followed by Interview. The exact date and venue of Written Test will be informed later and information will be provided through the website of IOCL (Link given below).
