Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Refineries Division, Gujarat Refinery, in inviting application for 100 vacancies in the posts of – Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production/ Fire & Safety/ TPS/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation) and Jr. Quality Control Analysts-IV. IOCL, GUJARAT REFINERY INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FROM ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOR 100 JR. ENGINEERING ASSISTANT (IN DIFFERENT DISCIPLINE) AND JR. QUALITY CONTROL ANALYSTS. LAST DATE – 10/12/2014
1. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Production): 60 Nos.
Qualification: 3yrs Diploma in Chemical / Refinery and Petrochemical Engg. OR B.Sc. (Math, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry)
2. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Fire & Safety): 02 Nos.
Qualification: Matric plus Sub-Officers’ Course from NFSC – Nagpur or from other recognized Institute with Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
3. Jr. Quality Control Analysts-IV: 3 Nos. (Reserved for PWD (OH/HH))
Qualification: B.Sc. with Chemistry with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (Gen / OBC) & 55% marks in aggregate for SC/ST/PWD. OR M.Sc. (Chemistry) with minimum 55% (Gen/OBC) and 50% (SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate.
4. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (TPS): 20 Nos.
Qualification: 3 Year Diploma in Mechanical OR Electrical Engg. with Boiler Competency Certificate.
Candidates with B.Sc. (PCM) who have successfully completed Apprenticeship Training for 3 years in Boiler Attendant Trade under Apprenticeship Act are also eligible.
5. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical P&C): 09 Nos.
Qualification: 3 Year Diploma in Mechanical Engg. from a recognized Institute / University OR Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade.
6. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Instrumentation): 06 Nos.
Qualification: 3 Year Diploma in Instrumentation / Instrumentation and Electronics / Instrumentation Control
Note (Applicable to all above posts): Candidates possessing professional qualifications such as BE/ B. Tech. / B.Sc.(Engineering)/MBA or similar professional qualification are not eligible to apply.
Qualification acquired through Distance/Correspondence mode learning system will not be entertained.
Post Qualification Experience (Applicable to all above posts): Minimum one year in relevant field/area. For details see advt. in PDF format given below.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 26yrs as on 01/11/2014. Relaxation in age by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for Persons with Disability.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test shall be called for Personal Interview. For details, see the PDF below.

Application Fee: General and OBC category candidates are required to submit the Crossed Demand Draft of Rs.150/- in favor of ‘ACCOUNTS OFFICER, GUJARAT REFINERY’, payable at Vadodara, towards the payment of Application Fee.
The D.D. should be enclosed with the print-out of user submitted Online Application form, by Ordinary Post.
SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies out of which one copy enclosed with attested copies of testimonials (in support of Qualification certificate/ Mark sheet, Age proof, Caste certificate and Etc.) is to be send at the below given address by Ordinary Post, so as to reach on or before 20th December, 2014.
Candidates should super scribe the Name of Post Applied for & Post Code, on the top of the envelope.
