Educational Qualification
i) Engineering Assistant (Mechanical): Three years full time Diploma (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration) in any of the following disciplines of Engineering i.e. Mechanical Engineering/ Automobile Engineering.
ii) Engineering Assistant (Electrical): Three years full time Diploma (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration) in any of the following disciplines of Engineering i.e. Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
iii) Engineering Assistant (T&I): Three years full time Diploma (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration) in any of the following disciplines of Engineering i.e. Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering / Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering / Instrumentation & Control Engineering / Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering / Electronics Engineering.
iv) Technical Attendant-I: Matric / 10th pass and ITI pass in the specified ITI Trades namely Electrician / Electronic Mechanic / Fitter / Instrument Mechanic / Instrument Mechanic (Chemical Plant) / Machinist/ Machinist (Grinder) / Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronics Communication System / Turner / Wiremen / Draughtsman (Mechanical) / Mechanic Industrial Electronics / Information Technology & ESM / Mechanic (Refrigeration & Air Conditioner with two years course and Mechanic (Diesel) with one year course.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-26 years as on 27.04.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs. 11900 – Rs.32000 and Rs.10500 – Rs.24500 for Technical Attendant-I
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Skill/ Proficiency/ Physical Test (SPPT).
Written Test will be held at 11.06.2017 and Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test will be held on 12.06.2017.
Written Examination will be held Rajkot/ Ahmedabad, Panipat, Bhubhaneswar, Kolkata, Begusarai and Guwahati.
