Educational Qualification:
(i) For Trade Apprentices (Fitter/ Electrician/ Electronics Mechanic/ Instrument Mechanic/ Machinist): Matric with two year ITI course in relevant disciplines with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates) from a recognized University/ Institute.
(ii) For Trade Apprentices (Accountant): Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates) from a recognized University/ Institute.
(iii) For Technician Apprentice (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Civil/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics): Three years Diploma in Engineering in relevant disciplines with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates) from a recognized University/ Institute).
Note:
(i) Candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training.
(ii) Candidates, who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of the prescribed qualifications, shall not be eligible for being engaged as Technician Apprentice.
(iii) Candidates for the position of Technician Apprentices should not have completed three years after passing of the qualifying examination as on 31.01.2018.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.01.2018.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Personal Interview.
Candidates selected for the post will be on training for a period of 12 months.
